🚀 What we’re building
At Fabrikatör, we’re building the next generation of operational intelligence for commerce brands.
E-commerce teams still run their operations with spreadsheets, gut feeling, and disconnected tools. Forecasts break, stock runs out, money gets locked in inventory, and teams spend their days firefighting instead of building.
We’re fixing this.
Today, Fabrikatör helps brands plan inventory, manage supply, and make better decisions with real data.
‍
Next, we’re going much further:
- An AI-powered Head of Operations that understands demand, supply, and constraints
- A system that lets planners simulate scenarios, compare outcomes, and get AI-assisted recommendations
- A platform that turns messy commerce data into clear, explainable decisions, not black-box predictions
- Software built for trust, clarity, and long-term thinking, not short-term hacks
You’ll be joining while the product is evolving fast, decisions are still being made, and your work will directly shape what thousands of operators rely on daily.

- Dive into the codebase to understand business logic and data flows
- Inspect and query databases to investigate inconsistencies or edge cases
- Collaborate with engineering to apply small fixes or validate larger bug fixes
- Translate customer-reported problems into clear technical findings
- Improve internal tooling, documentation, and support workflows
- Learn how AI-assisted, data-heavy SaaS systems operate at scale

- Frontend: JavaScript (React)
- Databases: PostgreSQL
- Infrastructure: Cloud-hosted, API-driven architecture
- Integrations: Shopify APIs and third-party services
- AI & Data: Forecasting logic, data pipelines, and AI-assisted decision systems
What we are looking for
- Strong technical curiosity and willingness to dig into unfamiliar systems
- Experience or solid foundations in backend development or data-centric roles
- Comfort reading and understanding production code
- Ability to query databases and reason about data consistency
- Clear communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bonus: experience with Ruby on Rails, SaaS products, e-commerce, or Shopify
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a developer
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Mention your fav pasta when applying :)
- Good communication and writing skills in English
- Prior tech-support experience is highly beneficial
Why Join Fabrikatör?
- Hands-on exposure to real production systems and real customer problems
- Opportunity to grow into backend, platform, or product engineering roles
- Work with modern tools, AI-driven systems, and clean architectures
- High ownership, fast feedback loops, and meaningful impact
- A collaborative, engineering-driven culture with no unnecessary bureaucracy
If you enjoy debugging real-world systems, learning fast, and want to grow in a modern AI-driven SaaS environment, we’d love to meet you.
